Im 18 and on track to get my Masters of business administrations degree and felt like i needed to quit my job at Target to get into a job that goes hand in hand with the degree im seeking. I really dont know where to go now though. A bank? An office? Take an internship somewhere to get "Ins"?

  1. A bank can be a great place to learn about the business field, as long as you use it to get experience and learn about what field you want to concentrate in.

Once you have a few years of schooling under your belt, an internship is going to be essential. That experience, combined with the bank experience will show that you're taking initiative to learn the real world implications of business. And that is absolutely indispensable for getting into an MBA program.

    Hope this helps!

  2. its the best thing to do your getting experience.try to move up the ladder.

  3. I'm not a business person, but I know loads of students who have majored in business and worked in places like banks.  My mother did.  She gained a lot of knowledge about the way money works in society...  Even if it doesn't have a direct application to the career you end up with, I think a few years at a bank would look much more professional on a resume than Target would.

But if you have worked at Target long enough to get promoted and you like it there, stay put.  It's your call.

  4. Well maybe as a start...
