I just got a job at TJ Maxx, and was wondering if working the cash register is difficult. Just im not sure about handling the credit cards, charges, and checks (like how to put it in the system). They said that most people catch on rather quick and they can usually teach someone in a day. Do you think i will be fine? Is it really that difficult to learn?

  1. No, once you get used to it you will be fine.  With all the technology these days, the computer basically does everything for you.

Just pay attention and always count the cash twice when receiving it and giving it back to people.  Mistakes are most likely to be made when dealing with cash.

  2. It's not difficult. If you pay attention, have a patient and understanding person showing you, you'll be just fine.

  3. You will be fine.It is very easy..I assume you are young.. good for you for getting a job.... I can't get over how many teenagers don't have jobs now a days...
