  1. Do you simply believe the people in this answer forum who are saying it is a scam and pyramid without providing any evidence? If someone is trying to get you involved, then please take the time, go do your due diligence and legitimate research. You are going to find only a few credible answers here in yahoo answers. Oh in regards to pyramids,80 percent of workers are in pyramids. They are called corporations, the military and government, and most of the workers are trapped in cubicles in their j.o.b (just over broke).

    Anyway, here is their website.

    http://www.primerica.com/public/

It is part of Citigroup and is on the New York Stock Exchange.

You can also check the better business bureau for any complaints:

  2. Yes it is my brother in law works there and i invested and hes a balla and im going to be its a great program that gives off great finachichal awards go for it

  3. best to do some of your own research - people who 'sell opportunities' typically DON'T have your best interest at heart.

    primerica [scam]

I'm not saying it's a scam - just giving you a way to do some google research - I'd recommend you invest a bit of time in researching - not going through the first google page.... go deeper.

    ~good luck

  4. No, I know relatives that have tried Primerica and they are no longer a part of it. I even got dragged to one of those presentations; what a waste of time...I did as a favor for my uncle. All of the promises they make are not true. It's a waste of time and money.

  5. Depending on where you want this opportunity to take you...

do you desire to be in Financial Services?

If not, dont bother.  It wont be worth the time, effort and expense to acquire all the licenses, etc.

However, if you do think Financial Services is a career you'd enjoy, then Primerica might be a good "stepping stone" (due to the experience you'd receive).  Bear in mind that many of the Primerica reps are NOT professional financial Advisors via academic/systemic education, but are trained by other reps within the immediate organization.

I had several students (Financial Services majors) who worked their way thru college utilizing Primerica, when no other Financial Services groups would employ them.

Of the 6 students, 4 are now Certified Financial Planners,

2 own their own Financial Advisor companies (ChFC)---all of them got their start by working part-time with Primerica, then continued to educate themselves and sought higher licensing and opportunites.

  6. I'm a current representative there and I believe its the best business opportunity so far. The company does right things for clients by educating the client about money. There's probably no company out there that is educating clients how money works, how powerful the compound interest really is, how the Rule of 72 applies in real life, how to save money, how to get out of debt, and so on. Most companies focus on selling products rather than to teach clients about money and/or figuring out what the client needs.

Primerica has a crusade that is totally different from the rest of the financial industry. Primerica was and still is the pioneer of buying term life insurance and invest the difference since the company was founded in 1977, while other companies stands 100% behind their cash value life insurance. Now that more and more people are seeing that term insurance is the best life insurance out there, many companies are offering term, but most of them still push their sales force to sell cash value life insurance.

Primerica is also in the crusade to get people out of debt. Most Americans are in debt and there's many companies out there that claims they can get people out of debt, but they fail in one certain area: Showing people how to get out of debt. When you consolidate your debt, you lower your monthly payment, but you have a different interest rate. I don't know any companies out there that are going to show people what to do with the save money. At Primerica, they teach the client not to spend it. Instead, they teach clients to use some of the save money and apply it back toward the principal and invest the rest.

As you can probably see, Primerica is committed to helping and educating families about money. I feel great every time I bring financial stability or peace into my client's life. But I don't have to do it alone. While you can do all the work on your own, there are only so many hours you can work each day. For me, I prefer to recruit people and train and develop them so that I have more leverage in my time.

Not only that, every time my teammates make money, I make money too. Is that a pyramid? Every where you work is a pyramid, unless you are self-employed. If you have a job, the company makes 5-10 times the amount of what you get paid for the hours you work. Unless you don't do anything at your job, the company losing money. Of course, you will be fired. In Primerica, if you don't work, you don't get paid. The good thing is that you can't get fired because you are an independent agent, unless you do something totally illegal or fail to comply with rules and regulations.

Anyway, here are the benefits of working at Primerica:

    1) You are the boss. No one tells you what to do or force you to do anything.

    2) Opportunity to own your business. Regional Vice Presidents own their business. RVPs can sell their business for what its worth to another RVP or pass it on to another family member. If the RVP dies, the family will continue to receive income that the business generates.

    3) Unlimited income potential. There's no cap limit on how much you can earn each year.

    4) Ability to earn overrides. An override is the difference between your sales level and your downline's sales level.

    5) Passive and residual income. In securities (or investments), you get paid on that forever.

    6) Get company recognition for your hard work. When you get promoted, its not kept quite. You get promoted in front of thousands of people who are cheering for your success.

    7) Training and business tips from successful business leaders in the company.

    8) An amazing support system. If you have questions or concerns or someone sent a complaint about you, it gets resolved right away by the company.

  7. I agree with Jennifer F.

The income opportunity is there, but it's not going to be as easy as it sounds.  Here's an article about home based business opportunities that you should read on and understand what's involved, and what you need to do.  It can be a very good opportunity, only if you do what it takes to succeed.  If you can't do it, you will fail.
