Is working in mcdonalds a hard job? if so why/how?

I worked there as a teenager. It was overall a pretty slack job and extremely simple. The only "hard" part about it, which isn't even really hard, is when it's busy, during lunch and dinner hours. But those hours feel like they are over in about 5 minutes, and then you can go back to being lazy again.

No, my idiot cousin managed to work his way all the way up to store maganer and he dropped out of high school in 10th grade. You don't really need to know anything to work there.

i found it easy when i worked there when its really busy lunch and dinner times it may get a bit stressful depending on who u are working with

McDonald's was my first job, nearly 10 years ago and I didn't like it. I thought they expected a bit much of you for it to be a minimum wage job, especially getting you to close the store all alone. But my main thing is that I've always been a perfectionist and I wasn't a good fit for fast food work because I tried hard to get all my orders right because I knew how much I hate driving home just to find out they gave me the wrong thing and how often that happened, and I was often gotten onto for being "too slow".

It was worth it though for the memory of a customer ordering a "cheeseburger with no cheese" once....I'll never forget that.

Mcdonalds isnt hard in terms of what u do, and usually the managers are pritty nice. but sometimes u get some pritty cranky customers even wen it isnt your fault. Also u hav to be very fast because everything you do is times. We are meant to hav drive thru times under 3mins (including taking order, cashing and getting the food) and u hav 60seconds for three items when u r on front counter. The kitchen is also timed they hav times for each burger. But it is a great experience and mcdonalds has alot of oppertunities for their crew such as promotions, schola

Fast food is a pain. I like quality food, the stress in the fast food is less, Than working in a restaurant. unless you know what you are doing. but that why there good managers and bad Managers.
