I am a very good writer. Is there a good chance of winning any of those scholarship competitions?

PS, the essays are usually around 1000 words.

  1. I guess it depends on how bad you want to be considered for the scholarship.  Wouldn't you be willing to spend a bit of time writing and have a chance to win a scholarship to help pay for college?  Without the essay you won't be considered if it's part of the requirements, so take a chance.  Besides, getting experience writing never hurt anyone.

  2. Here are some Essay contests try to participate in one of those and take a feedback from the Judges about your writing skills.

  3. Sometimes they aren't because you don't put time into them and they suck. I think you should write essays only on things you are interested in and save them. Also, find scholarships that want the general "Why do you deserve this?" so you can just copy and past the same essay over and over. Tell me if you win anything.
