Is writing on the box okay to mail?

obviously i mean writing on the box other than the addresses on the top. is that okay in the mail?

  1. Yes, you can adorn your package with writing as long as it doesn't blend in with the address to which it is going to. So leave enough room around the address (and the return address) so they'll be able to make it out okay, then write anywhere else on the package that you like. As long as you aren't using obscenities and such it is alright. You obviously still have to concern yourself with content.


  2. Yes, I  dont see how that would be a problem, as long as the address is on it should be fine

  3. Yes it's OK.  I used to do decorative stamping and would create quite elaborate pictures on the envelope.  They always went through and the Post Office never had a problem with it.

  4. That's fine.  Make sure there aren't any other bar codes showing though.  Best thing to do is to not put anything within an inch or two of the actual addresses themselves.
