Is wushu hard to learn?

and how long would it take an average 15 year old to learn the basics of wushu.

wushu is like gymnastics it's better to learn it when your young but in the U.S.A. there are many modified versions of the traditional wushu style. If your flexible and committed it could take you a year or two to learn the basics. Believe me that's not as long as it sounds, considering how long it took in the old days in china.
