I just took an IQ test and my IQ according to this site is 125. I just want to know if it's a reliable site. I mean, I was even offered a place to join the International High IQ Society. Can anyone tell me? if it is?

Thanks!

  1. most likely its safe because its .org

  2. Not to say you are not smart, but I'd question the validity of a non-proctored test.  I will trust your integrity that you scored well on their timed test.  Using a timed basis does give them a means of monitoring the testing.  Congratulations!  If you have qualified, and can afford their membership fee, by all means join.  It looks like they have some interesting things to do on their website.  If you can travel to their events, so much the better.

Some schools test their students using standardized tests, which are recognized for reflecting the IQ of the taker.  Perhaps you have taken one of these.  If you are still in school your counselor should be able to advise you of the score and its meaning.  If you are out of high school, the test scores may be part of your transcript.  You can request a copy from your school, for a small copying fee.

The link below is to the American MENSA page, listing tests & scores they recognize for membership.  If nothing else, wander around their website for a while.  Check out their Games too.  The nice thing about Mensa is that they have local groups, which get together regularly.  It's great to meet with others like yourself.

I am a card carrying member of Mensa, and recently discovered that I actually qualify in three different ways.  I may be blonde, but I have proof I'm not dumb.
