  1. I was born and raised in California but I would move to New England in a heartbeat.  Specifically Boston or Maine.  The winters will blow right through you and you'll wonder whaqt the heck you were thinking for 3-4 months out of the year, but to get all the other 3 distinct seasons.....I'd move there tomorrow if I had enough money in my sofa cushions.  Think I'm kiding??   Know what you should do? Go where your heart is pulling you.  Wyoming is beautiful country.  If you can endure the Winter, then do it.  At least try it for a year and see how well you adapt.  You may find that it a lovely place and worth the wretched winters.  Good luck with your decision!  : )

  2. wyoming is actually an old indian word that means " no state here"  it's really just water.  i know it's true because garfield told me so.

  3. If you like cowboys and non stop wind, WY is a perfect place to live. The climate is terrible and most of the State is a bit baron. As far as mountains go. Most of the State is mountains, but the only really spectacular mountains are in the Northwest part of the state, around Jackson and Yellowstone.

If you just want a place with really beautiful mountains and lots of snow. You might also want to look north of WY to Montana, south to Colorado, and west to Oregon. The latter of which, I believe has a much more mild climate.

Jobs, depends on what you are looking for, and what your skills are. Also, finding housing in WY can be a problem, and a bit expensive, or at least it used to be.

Again If you like Cowboys, wind, and want to live in a place with a real Western feel to it. then you probably can't beat Wyoming.
