i get mail alerts telling me i have 360 mail and when i go to it theres nothing there. I post on my blog and again i go to edit and its disapeared. Sometimes on the list the items ives posted are no longer there either. Lots of people are leaving yahoo because of it and its sad because it was once a great site for sharing posts with your friends Its now becoming a ghost site. Is this a deliberate move on Yahoos part perhaps ? They have been saying for a long time there to be updating there site yet to be seen, but i wait patiently Yahoo may not have as many waiting around as theyd like if they continue to ignore the requests for assistance and instead send robotic messages back to its viewers,

Frustrated

  2. Yahoo! 360 often has slow periods. On 6/19/08, I had trouble accessing 360 spaces - getting error messages. Yahoo servers often have backlogs of messages. There are many glitches - including instances where comment boxes stop working. There's not much a user can do about it. The service began in a "beta" (i.e. testing) mode in 2005 and it has not changed from that status.

You should stop contacting Yahoo 360 through e-mail or the Help form. They are no longer responding to personal inquiries about Yahoo glitches besides with an automated message. Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in the second half of 2008. The transition was announced in October 2007, when they also announced that they would not fix any bugs related to the service. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services into one. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

You can do the following to help improve your overall web browsing experience:

    1) Click the "Back" button on your browser and try again. Copy anything you type before posting or submitting.

    2) Clear your browser's cache and cookies often because you could be looking at old versions of web pages or have corrupted cookies. Make sure that you know your passwords before clearing cookies.

    CACHE:

    In Internet Explorer, see http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/usin...

In Firefox, click the "Clear Cache Now" button under Tools > Options > Privacy > Cache.

In Safari, under the Safari menu is an option to Empty Cache; select this.

    COOKIES:

In Firefox, do this under Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies > Clear Cookies Now

In Internet Explorer, do this under Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Delete > Delete Cookies > Yes

In Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu and click Security. Click Show Cookies, then click the option to Remove cookies.

    Then, restart your computer.

    3) You can try using an alternate browser. So, if you use Internet Explorer, you can try Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ ) instead.

    4) Make sure that your computer system is updated via Microsoft/Windows Update (if you have a windows system). Make sure that you have the latest Adobe Flash player plug-in installed for your browser. See http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/... .

    5) See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4D4zxsg6f... for more information on 360 glitches, including how to deal with your comment alert issue and blog posting.

  3. Yes, it does seem slower lately when I go to try to read my friends page. One of the problems was that we were all receiving alerts that "so and so" had left a comment. There was nothing there. But those are old alerts from comments already posted in the past. . I was getting 30-40 a day. Now they have stopped pretty much.I never got alerts when I had a comment anyway, but I did always get alerted with messages or blog comments. Now I don't get those at all since this past week. I haven't had any problems with blogs disappearing as far as I know. I keep posting and

reading others blogs and many of my friends are still there to some degree.

I also am having problems with my regular Yahoo mail. I get notified that I have 7 emails  and there are only 2. Or, I have 2 and there are none. "Problems" seem to be the key word with Yahoo. They did though fix my YA email and I can get that now after 6 months of not getting them. Another glitch I've noticed is that my points on YA are getting carried over. It looks as though I have mega points this week, but I actually have not hardly been on, due to commitments.

  4. I know they are suppose to be updating a lot of things and we see no proof of it.  Some of the things they are updating they should have left the way it was.  It was better the way it was.  Yahoo is running a lot slower the last few days.  From all the questions about the 360 there are a lot of problems with it.  Maybe yahoo will get a few of these things fixed soon.  Good luck!!!
