  1. I've given my 7 1/2 month old yogurt a few times but when I looked at the sugar I stopped. So now, I decided to get PLAIN yogurt and I'm going to add the fruit (the gerber baby food fruits) to the yogurt myself. That way I can kind of control the amount of sugary fruits are in the yogurt. I also don't find it necessary to get the "baby" yogurt. It's the same thing as adults yogurt just more expensive because it's "especially for babies." But if you make sure it's WHOLE milk yogurt you give the baby, any yogurt is fine.

  2. my baby is 9 months and had her first yogurt yesterday! its fine to give to your baby. i know i could've given it sooner to my baby but she has a sensitive tummy so i've waited longer with introducing a lot of foods. her tummy handled the yogurt quite well. give it a shot with your baby!

  3. I would ask your doctor.  They don't like you to give regular cow's milk until they are 12 months though.

You can always look at yobaby.  It is a brand of yogurt that may be okay for babies.

    God Bless

  4. yes they can have yoghurt from 6 mths.

  5. only wat to know is to try it. if there is a reaction stop and try again at a later time. my babies enjoyed yoghurt's and custards as first foods with no problems

  6. 9 - 10 months is fine to try yoghurt.

Just check them out as some of the baby ones actually have more sugar in them than some of the adult ones...and they cost so much more because they are 'baby yoghurts'.

We just give our son Jalna yoghurt, i just buy a tub and spoon out as much as i need.

  7. petit filous is from 4 months

  8. There are special yogurts for kids i.e. vaalia baby and Wiggles yogurt is fine from 6 months
