  1. Well the unspoken part is HOW you found out the policy was invalid.

You'll want to research this some more....

    Have a nice day.

  2. Yes, there are many internet site that are just a scam. However, there are many insurance companies that offer comparison of other competitors over the internet. Also, even if you have questions about your quote you can call their 800 number and they can pull out the quote and go over it with you. I'm not talking about local insurance companies but instead I'm talking about the national companies that you see commercials all the time.

-- Buyers beware!! Whenever you get a lowr quote make sure that the company is running your driving history at the time of the quote. Many companies will give you the better quote only to raise the premium after they internally run the driving history. That way they have you allready set up and you don't realize that your premium has gone up untill later. But you can still cancell the policy.

Make sure you are well covered. Some companies will give you the least amount of coverage, so it seems that they are giving you the best price!!

  3. yes, my policy is active.

Never, ever, ever buy your "policy" over the internet.  Shopping by price over the internet, will lead to fake policies being sold to you.  It happens all the time.  If everyone in your area is charging you $300 a month, and some guy says he'll do it for $150 a month, there's a REASON it's so cheap - because he's scamming you.

If you buy your coverage through a local agent, you won't get scammed.  If you buy over the internet, first of all, you're acting as your own agent, and you'll get bad advice.   And second, you're at much greater risk for fraud.

  4. The status of my insurance policy has nothing to do with your situation.

    Sorry that you got cheated.

I sugget you go speak with another company and put another policy in place.
