What do you mean, it's not functioning.

If it's not opening it may be corrupted, try to un-install then re-install it.

Or do you mean that it's not detecting anything, if that the case then your computer is sterile,congratulations, you must take care of it for Ad-Aware not to find anything, or you have a virus thats not detected if that may be the case then download these and scan your computer just in case. Or it's outdated, try to update it.
