I have 4 month old daughter that is on her "peak" time of acid reflux.

She's on Zantac since 2 weeks ago (went on feeding strike, ate only 4 oz in 24 hours period) and she spitting up a lot (used to be a bit).

I'm really stressfull and really hope this over soon.

She's only want breastmilk and soy (she spitting up more on breastmilk), we tried to change it to similac RS (with rice starch) or add cereal on her bottle (with doctor's order), she doesn't like it.

So now just a waiting game.

  1. Both my sons had reflux.  My oldest son was the worst.  Spitting up all the time and what not, but I found that the ready made formula helped tremendously, it doesn't have all the bubbles that the powder formula produces.  He grew out of it around 6-7 months, after I started him on solids.  Has your baby been like this sinse taking the Zantac, maybe it's making it worse on her.  Try the ready made, and make sure she burps really good.  Good Luck!

he has some really good stuff about reflux and how to help it. things like wear your baby (being upright keeps the food down) and offer smaller feedings more frequently, keep baby quiet after feedings and lots more.

also, there are foods that might aggrevate reflux.

i hope that helps. and just keep in mind that some babies just spit up a lot. so some of the spit up could be from reflux and some just because she's a baby

    good luck!
