My baby was VERY active and now is not as active as usual. I still feel him moving but a lot less today. Does baby movement slow down as the weeks go by? Anyone else soooo ready to see their baby? I know I am!

  1. as the baby has less and less room.. the kicks and jabs will turn into more of a rolling kind of feeling.

  2. My baby is the same way.  One day he's active and the next he's chillin'.  The bigger they get, the less room they have.

**  After week 28 ( you're 29, so...) take the movement test nightly if you're concerned.  Have a snack and/or glass of milk, lie down on your left side, relax, and you should be able to count 10 movements in 10 minutes or so.  if you haven't counted 10 in 10 by the end of an hour then try again and if you don't get 10 in 10 by the end of another hour then call your doctor!!

  3. Hi there,

I'm 32 weeks and so ready to be done:) My baby has grown less active which I've read is totally normal being they are growing and have less space to move around. Congrats on your little one:)

  4. Yes I am so ready to see my baby boy.  I cannot wait the 9 weeks I have left.  But I know he needs to cook a while longer before I get to meet him.

Yes it is normal for babies to slow down.  It is because they are running out of room.  So the movements may not be as hard.  The movements will be more tumbles, and you will be able to feel arms or legs sweep across your belly.  It's great.  As long as you are still feeling 10 movements in 2 hours you are fine.

  5. I am at 25 weeks. I am so freaking excited! Some days my baby boy is very active and the next i barely feel him. Yes, the further you get to pregnancy the less he/she moves because there is less room. I think it's to soon for that though.

    Good Luck and Congratulations!
