  1. with less than one year experience i have never thought that I'm better than him.

  2. my manager would have made an amazing boss compared to my boss. well any one would have. But it doesnt matter the boss pays the wages and owns the company its not like he can get fired

  3. Generally, bosses have work they need to do that their worker bees dont know about, so think twice before judging your boss. At the least, your boss's job is to manage you and others below him, not to do the work you're supposed to do. So if you think he is useless because he's not doing his job, well if you are doing your job, then he is doing his.

Well said to you too Henry. Saying your boss is incompetent is like saying that he wasn't doing his job and hired a bad worker (you).

LoL, it looks like we got down voted because we recognize what a boss does. I guess they'll know too once they move up the ranks.

BTW everyone: for my current job, everyday I fear I will get fired from my job, not because I'm not doing my job but because I know my boss is fully competent. I fear she will realize she pay me way too much for the easy work that I do. I know that my boss is able to do everything I can do at an exceptional quality of work. I understand that the reason I was hired was because she feels her 4 hours a day is worth more than mine and is willing to pay me for mine. Remember who trained you and dont forget that you were hired to do the work so your boss doesnt have to. Understand that you are easily replaceable and will be replaced by someone who is more grateful to do the work.

Edit: To the original poster, first of all, how does that make her "incompetent" and "useless?" Unprofessional, perhaps, but what she did doesnt explain her inability to do her job. I dont know the exact relationship between all of your characters, but have you ever thought that perhaps she was making the right decision? Could it be possible that the recent break up would affect the worker's performance to do her job? Are you even sure of her motive for doing what she did or are you simply speculating on it? Did she tell you thats why she did it? If not, they you really dont have a leg to stand on in the matter.

  4. Well said, Morisato.

Was the boss incompetent when he hired you, or did he suddenly become incompetent when YOU started working for him?  Coincidence?  I think not...

  5. Yes he is, and we all had to quit because of it.

  6. h**l yeah!  Not my current boss, because I'm not working right now (going to school), but my old boss used to tell us to do something, then come in five minutes later and say "What are you doing?  That's not a priority right now!"  And it's like "You JUST told me to work on this!"  Crazy *****.  She was nicer on the days after she took her afternoon trip.  (Pick up meds?  Pick up drugs?  Get laid?  What's the secret to her sanity?!)

  7. my boss and my husband both win in that category
