Actually ON TIME, which is surprising considering it is New York City!  Fare is $2.00 which you can pay in coins or use a MetroCard.  The link below will give you the various options for a MetroCard purchase in NYC.

For the most part, yes, the bus I take is on time.  May be a few minutes delayed during winter.

My 45 ride swipe card cost about $70 so I save about .40/ride compared to cash.  The cash fare out here is $2.15 or $2.25 for adults.

It's easier for me to keep that in my wallet rather than change/tickets (more expensive in the long run)   No expiry date.

They are implementing something new as well.  We also have monthly bus passes with your photo on it with unlimited usage.  Not too sure of the cost on that, never use it.

yeah my bus is always on time the fare is $1 and the monthly pass is $25 and its in the Bahamas

I go to my school everyday and this city is crowded.

Sometimes I can't get on buses as they overcrowded.

This is population side-effects.

But they are punctual!
