I have heard many people dying from lights while they are talking on their cells.

How are you going to protect yourself from thunderstorm lights while having calls on your cell during the lights storm.

Are you going to turn it off or just leave it on and keep it far from you

  1. If you are the highest things around, then there is a good chance that your cell will increase your chance of being struck.

Also don't stand under or near the highest thing that will draw the lightning.  Lightning can jump from those object to you.

  2. It might put you in danger but if theres something made of metal and higher than you , reduces the possibility to get struck by lightning. And theres a lot of metal mass if you live in a city.

  3. just ,OK ,put it in a very tight pocket
