Max went to the bathroom yesterday and had um a piece dangling... he felt it, looked back and tried to run from it. Stopped.. looked back and tried to run again. then for the next 10 minutes (after it was off) he continued to look back at his rear to make sure it was gone.

Has your dog ever done this?

  1. No...........but that is funny! lol.... i also kinda feel bad for her/him

  2. LOL..no, but my dog is afraid of gas!  If she, or anyone in the house passes gas, she will turn to the culprit (or her own tail), sniff and run!

  3. LOL .. No ... That's funny though.

  4. yeah my dogs did that

    haha

  5. Lol, no, he hasn't ever done that (yet), but when I walk him on his leash into the backyard, he veers over really fast to the other side of me to get away from the place where he poops. It's so funny!

  6. Yeah dogs may be scared or intrigued by a number of different things or different sizes and....different smell!!! Anyway, i dont see what the problem is as long as he doesnt actually eat it!!! If he does eat it...well there is a special dog toothpast, check it out!

  7. Well, yeah, sure.  If something was still dangling and wouldn't come off, the dog would be like WTF?  Some dogs don't really know enough to squat and wipe it on the grass.  I think each of my dogs has had that happen at least once in their lives.  The poor thing would be running around looking at me for help and I'd be just laughing!!  Finally I had to grab a wad of paper towels and give a hand.

He probably ate some grass which stuck to the pieces.  That was it in each of my dog's cases.  Try to not let him eat grass and it shouldn't happen again.  Those rope string toys do it also, and are actually pretty dangerous because the rope could tangle in their intestines.  I stopped using those!

  8. LOL  Yup!

A friend gave the dogs one of those twisted  string bones.  I knew it wouldn't last long here so When they were done playing with it I picked it up and put it on the counter.  Well one of them ( no one has confessed yet) got it during the night and I woke up to a mess of undone string bone all over the den.  I knew the guilty party would have some string issues with their pooping.  Well they all did!  So they all did exactly what you described.

LOL  I'm just glad they pooped it out!

  9. hahaha, now thats funny!!!

I dog would eat its own p**p but never scared of it!!! i know i know...

  10. no, but mine id it with a bin, if that counts?  we tied her up outside a shop to a bin for 5 minutes. when we came back out she was running awayfrom a bin, with it "chasing" her, spilling litter everywhere.
