Is your family economically better off now than than 8 years ago under different Federal policies?

I am better off now, because 8 years ago I was going through a divorce and it was a mess!!

If you don't count that, I am worse off now because of the gas situation and the increased rising prices on everything trickling down from the increase in gas prices.

i am very much so.. my taxes are down.. my salary is up more than making up for the rising costs..

also i have been paranoid about stocks.. so as soon as it started going down i moved everything out of stocks.. now if i can just time the bottom right!!
