  1. No, you must pray five times a day no matter what, just like prayer, fasting is a pillar of Islam. All pillars must bind together,  for example while in prayer you say Shah-hada... In fasting you must pray.  I hope helped.

Ramadan Kareem, and may Allah (swt) bless you-- AMEEN

    Masood

  2. Peace..

No, this is because the sins for NOT praying salah will overwieght the reward for the fast. Therefore not only will ur fast not count, but u will get extra sins on top.

This is why many muslims even when they are not practicing, pray their salah in this month so there fast is accepted.

The only thing u will get from fasting and NOT praying salah is just thirst and hunger; you wont even learn self restraint because u havnt obeyed allah by praying to him.

Remember in Sahih Bukhari the prophet pbuh said " the difference between a BELIEVER and NON-BELIEVER is PRAYER". Now if u dont pray, ur a kafir...simple as..there isnt another simple answer to it..

If u want to be consistent in prayer from now on, reach a minimum of 40 days praying 5 times a day, so u become regular in prayer, and please allah.

    Peace

  3. if its not then it means my fast won't count

    I don't pray

I should start. I'm gonna pray starting today :)

  4. Yes

  5. well, only god knows that.

  6. only Allah tala know...

  7. I know a man that didn't pray for years and he got 2 kids and grace on this earth but he is excellent faster he can fast like Dawud A.s. if he wanted to..... so its hard to say.. he is very blessed so I don't know if we could say he is or is not blessed.  If he is or is not going to be accepted for the salat he missed.

But surely those who did pray and did the rest of the pillars of Islam have been promised something... ifyou miss one of them... are you to gain the same reward? How just is that... if you think about common logic then you will see there is elevations in levels and not a 1 good deed goes without eternal record.... as the sins will be washed away inshAllah Tahala Amin from the weight of an Atom Salman! An ATOM!

  8. NO.

That would be pointless, my mom always said..

    First Prayer, then Fasting.

  9. yes  but its call faqa not roza (fast)

    salah is important

without salah its like bottle without pop

  10. I dont have the authority to answer that. That would be Allah swt who can. However if u consider n convinced that u r a muslim. Then u must do salat, coz its one of five pillars for being a muslim.

    Salaam.

  11. no, it's called faqa when you fast without praying salat.

  12. The fast of one who does not pray

Question: We need to know the ruling about the fast of one who does not pray (obligatory prayers)?

Response: One who does not pray, (then) his fast is not correct and it is not acceptable from him. This is because the one who does not pray is a kaafir and apostate (murtad), as Allaah (subhaanahu wa ta'aala) says: {But if they repent, offer prayers perfectly and give zakaah, then they are your brethren in religion} [Soorah at-Towbah, Aayah 11]. And also the statement of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam): ((The agreement which is between us and them is the salaah, so he who leaves it has disbelieved)), and also His (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) saying: ((Between the man and shirk and kufr is leaving the salaah)). And certainly this is the statement of the general Companions, if it is not a concensus amongst them. 'Abdullaah Ibn Shaqeeq (rahimahullaah) who was amongst the prominent Taabi'oon said: ((The Companions of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) did not see the leaving off of any actions to be kufr except the prayer)). And based upon this, if a person was to fast whilst he did not pray, then his fast is rejected and unacceptable and there is no benefit for him in front of Allaah on the Day of Judgement. And we say to him: Pray then fast, as for fasting and not praying then your fast is rejected because (any) act of worship is not acceptable from a kaafir.

  13. What's the point of fasting without praying? There is no point, you just go hungry for the day. Ramadan is not just about not eating food, it's about reforming your inner self. It's about starting over, trying to be a better Muslim and better person. It is about praying more, reading and studying Qur'an more, avoiding bad speech (lying, gossiping, arguing), giving charity. So a person who does not pray while fasting is not really fasting, he/she is just skipping a few meals until dark. There is a haidth which goes as something as follows: "It could be that a fasting person receive noting apart from hunger and thirst".
