I had to use a lot of toilet paper to get the blood out. there was so much!!! i got really scared.... is there something wrong with me? Is your first period supposed to be really heavy? Is this normal? Does this mean my period is always going to be this heavy? it's really gross cause there is so much blood

  1. Yes, it can be. It's different for every woman. But I can attest to the fact that when I started at age 11 (yes, young, I know!) the flow was extremely heavy and kind of irregular for that first year.  Now that I'm older, it's not so bad.  Don't be scared, you sound perfectly normal. But it's always a good idea to check in with your doctor after your period ends, just to let them know what's going on.

  4. It's normal,don't worry^^ It changes according to everyone's body-Sometimes it might be light,sometimes heavy.

  5. mine was very heavy when i first got it, your period will be kinda messed up for the next 2 years while your body is still trying to adjust, you might have a really heavy one then a very light one the next month. this is totally normal.and yes it probably will lighten up.
