  1. Mine's blooming waterlogged!

  2. Mine looking pretty poor. To wet and very little flowering and if it is the flowers are just a soggy mess! And the slugs are eating my marigolds. First time I've ever had a problem with marigolds. I'm devastated! Prob cause there nothing else growing to eat! lol

  3. Its glorious.Very lush---the hostas are huge!

  4. Yes, I'm growing my first crop of Scorzonera, a root vegetable that has an oyster-like taste and is considered haute cuisine by European sous chefs.  I can't wait to harvest and cook them.  I got this idea from a friend who bought a container that was specially designed to grow them.

Salsify, a similar tasting root veggie, is next on my list.  Happy gardening!

  5. yes the agapanthus is gorgeous- (blue) it reminds me of allium christophhi - which i couldnt find this summer but will plant bulbs in september!!! lots and lots of em lol

  6. My garden was open on Sunday for the NGS and it looks a picture this year - Triteleia are just stunning, Persicaria came out on the day, Zantedeschia by the pond are in full bloom alongside Astrantias, Astilbes, giant Scabious, giant Aruncus, Hypericum, Knautia, Ligustrum, Phormium Tenax has 6 blooms, next to the Crocosmia lucifer, with Lychnis coronaria, Lavender, roses, nicotinia, Alliums (Christophii & Gigantium),  crambe cordifolia, geraniums and an Acanthus Mollis all flowering too - it makes it all worth while; am going to just sit and look at it for a few weeks now!   :-)
