If two people with half empty / full glasses get together do you get a full glass for both? Or does one get a full glass and the other an empty one?

I see it both way. Lets say this. If i poor a full glass. Then drink half of it. It would now be consider half empty, because i subtracted some of the water, but now lets say theres a cup it is sitting on the kitchen counter its half full. Why, because you haven't added any to it or subtracted anything from it. So it is half full, but let say you did add more to it. It would still be consider half full. Kind of like life if you take it for granted, your cup going to be half empty, but if you live life to the fullest and love life then you can always add more happiness.

my own is half empty because if its half full i dont need more.. but if its half empty i need more because its almost empty!!!!! im greedy that way

you could also just say a half a cup... thats the lazy way to think

but then again... i dont have a glass in front of me... so i guess i cant have any!!!!

it matters if im filling my cup with soda or i already drank from it if im filling it up then its half full but if i drank from it then half emtey
