Is your head supposed to hurt after you dive?

I'm not hitting the bottom or anything. It's just the top of my head.

when you go underwater anywhere even in a pool there is pressure that starts to compress your head and body. i think that when you come up you should try to stay a couple inches under the water for a couple seconds just to decompress a little before you go back to regular pressure. i heard that on tv. you might want to try that but anyway, it is normal so don't freak out unless the pain lasts for longer than like 5 hours. take a tylenol for the meantime or something

You are suppose to break the water with your hands prior to your head hitting the water. If you don't, it will hurt every time.

You have to break the water with your hands other wise it will hurt, kind of like belly flops.
