  1. Yes, I used to longboard frequently and I always put my leash up my calf.  I used to love to walk up and down the board.

  2. I am not all that great a longboarder. I ride one, and have great fun on it, and I do tend to walk around on it a bit. I am a subscriber of Longboard magazine however (I like lots of other things about it, beside just long boarding). And I notice that almost all of the longboarders who use leashes, have them strapped on up at their calf. That sort of makes sense to me. So, I suggest gibe it a try and see in the water. Also, that's a great magazine for a young long boarder to read. Good luck.

  4. yeah. i dont longboard a lot but when i do i put the leash around my knee so it doesnt get tangled when i move up to the nose

  5. I'm guessing that you longboard and that is what most longboarders do if they are going to were a leash.  It would be hard to get it tangled if you put it high up on your calf. Just make sure that your leash is at least just as long as your board you can get all the way up to the nose without running out of leash.  The majority of longboarders at my spot don't even use a leash, but that is all up to you.

    Good luck and keep surfing!
