  1. haha I have one! Fixing to have another in Decemeber..

    Kids are picky nowadays.

what I do is when I fry meat for tacos etc... I get him out some meat that is kinda stuck together or make him small meatballs... and ask him if he wants big or small meatballs before you cook it to get him to think he decided on his own. Lately he seems to like the stuck together scrambled up pieces. Thats the only way I can get him to eat Beef. And if he eats it once in a week he will be done with it for a lil while. Oh & Buddhig Corned beef rolled into rolls he thinks thats neat or I get a piece of bologna & roll it up & stick it on a fork & give it to him he likes that too. He also likes summer sausage.

Also I give him either Nutripals as a snack or Parents choice pediatric nutriton drink for a more complete balanced diet. He loves them actually hes addicted to them has to have 1 a day : ) They are a little pricey but It helps me to not fret so much when he just absolutely will not eat.

Other meats he eats is popcorn chicken, chicken strips,or bologna plain cut in triangles or fried in a lil butter cut into 4 pieces or fried hotdogs or microwaved. I fry it sometimes when he gets sick of cold cuts... this gives it a whole diff. taste I like it fried too with mustard on bread. Just drain grease well in napkins afterwards.. so he can finger food it. Summer Sausage & crackers... Oh & he loves frozen peas run under water a little he loves the coldness of them. Stir-fry mixed frozen veggies he loves that just give him 1 of each on a plate when done let him pick the ones he likes...

but its meat. Also my son will not eat anything mixed up has to be seperate or plain. So when i give him his plate i usually give it to him one thing at a time... or else he gets overwhelmed & wotn eat? He likes homeade french frieds sliced thin. Plain noodles or ramen noodles. He also loves mustard or turnip greens most veggies directly out of the can! Just make sure no sharp points around can, & drain the juice.

Beef jerky Jacks links isnt so tough he loves it. Oh & raw veggies sliced thin for carrots so he dont choke. My son loves the raw stringless sugar snap peas the come in a small bag they are crunchy & sweet.

Oh & french toast with syrup is the only way my son eats eggs he loves it!Good Luck!!

  2. this one is hard ,, i use to get so upset when i stood  did a dinner and just got a no no no ...

i use to make faces with the food or get plates with pics on so he/she as to eat the food to see what tha pic is

its hard my daughter as been like it from 12 months to 12 years

when she was a baby the only way she eat was mixing her dinner with puddings lol

make meal time as fun as you can with a nice treat for after that should work

    best of luck xxxx

  3. My babe was never a picky eater because he got a variety of foods from the start.  When we did encounter something he didn't like, we installed the "3 bite rule".  3 bites and you're done with it, and until you're done with it you don't leave the table.  Guess what?  He learned to like.  Just not leaving the table is fine assurance that they will eat.  If they don't, the food is taken away, and no more dinner, snacks, etc until the next meal, and then they have a chance at the same food (not necessarily the same plate, just what they didn't eat before).  Until they finish it, they get nothing.  Kids won't starve.  Just don't give them the option of being picky.  If i'm 24 and can lay down the law, anyone can :)

  4. Offer different foods - all the time.

My son is a picky eater as well. After trying many things we found that he will eat a lot of meat with A1 sauce. I know that A1 Sauce has a lot of sodium in it but I would rather have him eat then not eat.

My son has yet to eat a lot of fruit or veg. (he has his favorites and thats all that he wants). I put a peice on his plate everyday in hopes that he will at least try it. I don't force anything. I don't want him to hate the food. I just offer and wait - I know one day he will try it.

  5. i have picky eaters to. i always put other things on there plate as well. that way it's there and if they try it that's great. somethings they say they don't like it and down the road they start eating it. just keep giving them things to try. and don't over load there plates. just a a spoonful. good luck :)

  6. Not to many toddlers are going to eat anything you put in front of them. Just remember to try and sneak in the healthy stuff! My youngest would only eat colorful cereal. Strange. A little dab of grape juice in her rice crispy's s took care of that. Purple milk was the answer. Add bananas to anything by using a blender. A blender can be your best friend. They have books out on this subject. :-) Study up on the subject. Another little trick that helped me out was using child psychology on them. Put it on your plate and they'll want it. Sure enough. They always want what you have. Make food fun. Use raisins for dressing up bread. Cut cheese with a cookie cutter to make it look fun. A lot of it is sight. If it looks fun, it must taste good. Hope I've been some  help for you. Best of luck.

  7. I had some issues with my daughter and this is what my mom told me:

    1. Use dips, toddlers love to dip just about anything and use a variety of things like ketchup, mustard and barbecue sauce.

    2. If you get desperate, open the fridge and ask what they want (put healthier foods on the shelves they can see) they will feel "big" and then want to eat it.

    3. Don't fight it, being a toddler is a power struggle on almost everything, if you don't make it a big deal, they will eventually eat. They aren't going to starve themselves, lol.

    4. This is the one that worked the best for me: Tell your toddler they can't have the food because, "it's for big people." and when they beg, say, "I dunno, you aren't old enough yet." Finaaly give in and say, "I guess you can try a bite." They will be begging for the food, lol. My daughter loves spinach now because she thinks only big people eat it!

    5. Feed them off of your plate. Sounds weird, but hand them a fork and let them eat with you. It really does work!

  8. My sons a really picky eater. I open the fridge. put healthier foods on the bottom shelfs so he can see them. he picks what he wants, he feels big and eats it
