Ok so I have established that america is a bit stingy with adoption record etc. I feel bad for those who dont have a clue about family history and things. Do you think that one day though, you voices will be herd?

I hope so.

  1. well it will be on here!....

  2. Well, since 4 states re-opened records to adopted citizens in 10 years, I'd say our voices are being heard.

Our voices will be heard loud and clear in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 22, 2008 at the Annual State Legislatures convention where people of adoption will be protesting sealed records!!

  6. I think so. One of the US biggest rappers is finally speaking in front of the NJ state legislators.

We are gathering in strength.  Even those who don't want their records want open adoptee access.  It is gathering steam.  I hope they will be heard.  I think that they are.

  7. Let's hope so.  :)

  8. Herd?    Hahahahahaahahahaha.

  9. Yes, I do. I think our time for opening records and adoption reform is HERE. I think the time is NOW, and changes are going to start happening very soon. A lot of people are uniting in the name of adoptee rights and reform. bills are being drafted, legislators are listening ( I spoke with mine yesterday ) and I absolutely believe change is on its way.

  10. i hope so iam trying to find my son  but lost sight

  11. I think alot of it is up to the adoption parents to step up. I know I have. I am ready with info when my kids ask and if I don't have it, I will help them find it. Is it scary yep. I am human and admit to being a little scared that the kids might end up liking the birth family more than me or something. But I love my kids and won't denied them something because of my own insecurity
