Is youtube a good source for songs?

I was thinking about buying an phillips player with video/audio....and then putting youtube videos on it,..,,,..,use that as a source for music instead of others...Is this a good source? Will it work?...I think it would be neat to have a music video/lyrics when I listen to music as well..:)

no its not unless you know how to get videos from it

and know how to convert them to the appropriate format

www.keepvid.com is what you use to download them but you need to convert them from flv or mp4 to avi or something

It has over 1000 songs uploaded. I use it for all my songs & stuff!!

Yeah, many users upload songs with lyrics so i guess it is a great source.
