  1. it depends where your going. £40 isnt too bad but with drinks on top it could workout an expensive night out.

  2. IS IT A Christmas day meal?

then it is about the right price but a before Christmas meal then very expensive

  3. Its quite a lot but it all depends on where it is and what the food is like and also when it is!  If you are meaning an actual meal on Christmas day then its about what you would expect to pay, if you just mean a meal in the run up to christmas its a bit high but if its at a nice place then would be about right.  Too much all depends on what you can afford and what your friends/family/whoever is going can afford.

  4. I'd say it is a bit pricey! I'm going with a big group and it's only costing us £11 for a three course meal :D With one free drink. That's at weatherspoons though so I guess it depends where you go lol

  5. Depends where your going - We have a number of Xmas parties ranging from £25-£65 I know one of the smaller parties we're having is Yum Yum a Thai restaurant in Stoke Newington they do lovely food they have two set menu just look around although you have left it a bit late - I do know that Jamie Oliver' place 15 is charging 50ph.. but have a good one!!!!

  6. Far too much, seeing as the place will no doubt bulk buy the ingredients and have it prepared well before you arrive, ergo it wont be fresh. These Corporate christmas dinners are a quick buck for the establishment holding the event thats all

  7. That's a bit too much for my tastes, but I guess it's okay if it is a place you really like.  I can't really judge on this because us Americans usually cook at home for Christmas and we probably end up spending $10 a head at most!

  8. that's very cheap actually

  9. Depends where it is, ie, nice restaurant, bistro or pub.

It a good price for a restaurant, expensive for a pub.

  10. depends what you get for that, and the quality of the food.

  11. yes

  12. Its not too  bad ,  we're paying £34.95 for ours.   What a difference it makes not having the hustle and bustle and washing up, I'm looking forward to mine.

We've been going to this restaurant for four years now and can't fault it.

Four course and glass of wine .

  13. Very much depends on where it is. Restaurants often overcharge at Christmas - just make sure you don't pay for everything up front in case they take the micky

  14. It depends how many people you have with you. But its not as bad as places i have eaten.

  15. If you ARE GOING TO A NICE RESTAURANT AND HAVING 3 OR 4 COURSES IT SEEMS VERY REASONABLE. AND IF IT IS ON XMAS DAY IT SOUNDS CHEAPER AGAIN

  16. that is to expensive i think but then again you wont get it any cheaper on christmas x

  17. like h**l would i pay £40 a head for a meal! too expensive

  18. Reasonable i think, but it would have to be good. One year my wife and i went out with friends for xmas dinner £30 per head andit was absoloute rubbish, i would want to sample their food beforehand....

  19. for a good quality meal with more than one course its a reasonable price! enjoy!

  20. no thats cheap my bf mam pays £90 per head. for the whole family mind you thats in a posh place. but in a pub i would say thats ok

  21. That is about average for a Christmas Day Meal.  Lots of places charge £50 + and are booked up by February for the following Christmas.
