Is µTorrent 1.8 good? Is it worth it?

I am trying to decide whether to install it or not.

If you are that worried about uTorrent, the best thing to do is not to upgrade. Especially if your current version is working fine. As for me, I updated without a second thought and I have no complains so far.

I'm pretty sure if anyone really NEEDed it, they would be some programmer or something.

I would say it is worth it.  I have not had any issues since updating to 1.8 and there is a "highly critical" security alert out on earlier versions:

I updated mine a couple of days ago, took like 3 mins man. Just do it I reckon. It would help with alot of errors and stuff that could come up and I think it slightly increased my speed. But that could be becuase I just changed torrents.
