I don't have to pay for food or transport or hotels or fees into places as I'm going with family.

  1. possibly. but It wasn't enough for us

  2. NO!!! I'm an American and I'm stationed here in Germany. The exchange rate is roughly .61 euro cents to $1 american. my parents visted me last month for one week and spent roughly $1,500 or 900 euro in one week.  I would take atleast 500 euro for three weeks if its just you.

  3. There is no way that is going to be enough for you!  You still have to pay for transportation, if you are going to take the ubahn in the cities, food isn't cheap either.  I think 250 euro a week is good.  I would bring with you at least 750 euros... then you'll have money for transportation, souviners, if you want to go to a museum or to any other types of entertainment, if you are going to go out and drink its going to cost you.

I spent a lot of money in Germany when I was there, but then again, yeah I did have to pay for hotel and food, but still... I would bring more with you, you never know...

  4. If it's just pocket money for souvenirs etc... then it should be enough. But you must be really careful and not buy everything you like.
