Question:

Isabel or Isabella and Roxanne or Roxanna for twins???

My friend's having twins and we came up with Roxanna and Isabel. But we're not sure about some things, which I'll mention below. btw, Isabel means 'devotion to God' and Roxanna means 'dawn, sunrise, daybreak'.

1. Should she go with Isabel or Isabella? And how about Roxanna or Roxanne?

2. Do they sound nice together? ( but she didn't want names that were totally similar like other twins.)

3. Middle names: If it were Isabel, then Isabel Ava. If it were Isabella, then Isabella Michelle. For Roxanne, Roxanne Melissa and if were to be Roxanna...what?

Suggestions, input, please! Thanks!

  1. I think that Isabella and Roxanne is the cutest of combos!!!

    Congrats!

  2. Isabel...I really hate both Roxana and Roxanne and I don't care for Michelle or Melissa either.

Isabel Ava is very pretty (although very common) but you need to go back to the drawing board on the other one.

  3. My suggestion is that unless you have an italian surname, stick with Isabel and Roxanne.  Skip the additional syllable.  I think they are both pretty names.
