The 23-year-old fast bowler impressed all and sundry with his bounce and pace when he burst onto the scene in 2007. Even though http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 is not known for producing fast bowlers, there were heavy expectations from Ishant Sharma.
Since then he has produced a mixed bag of results. On his day, Sharma can be a match-winner but ever so often he is extremely ordinary. The inconsistency in his performances can be credited to a downfall very early in his career.
A tall bowler in the mould of Ishant Sharma can extract extra bounce on the Australian pitches but he has been poor so far in the series Down Under for the Indian team. He has only managed 4 wickets in the series at an abysmal average of 106 runs per wicket.
Sharma expressed that cricket can be very cruel at times and he has been unfortunate in the series against Australia. He feels that bowling fast can be very tough at times but playing at the international level, one has to give his best all the time.
Sharma said, “Am I the unluckiest bowler? You can’t say that. Cricket is a funny game. You never know what’s going to happen next. All you can do is to hope for the best. Fast bowling is a tough job. You still carry on because bowling for your country is
a big motivation.”

“He doesn’t tell me to bowl full. He knows it’s not my natural style. He tells me to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adrian-Roger-Kirshaw-Pierson-c42135 to my natural style. Just a little bit of swing because conditions are helpful to swing bowling. He says ‘if you can swing, you have better chance to get them out’,”
the fast bowler added.
