Isheforreal hot favourite for Bettor.com Peterborough Puppy Derby - Heat 4
It is most likely that Isheforreal will continue his winning journey and display a forceful performance in fourth heat of the Bettor.com Peterborough Puppy Derby, taking place at Peterborough on Saturday, April 14th.
The white and black dog is in sublime form at the moment. At the end of last month, he registered his fourth consecutive triumph at the same venue.
Keeping his dominance right through the race, the son of Royal Impact secured the top position by seven and a half lengths.
Since he is full of power and confidence, the bookies are not reluctant to give him the highest starting price for today’s 420 metres flat heat.
The plan is to kick off proceedings at 21:07 GMT. In search of a cash prize of £100, six ace hounds will unleash their talent. Their names are: Isheforreal, Romeo Gallant, Ballymac Oma, Droopys Hope, Farloe Handy and Angies Flyer.
Romeo Gallant is likely to give a hard competition to Isheforreal. The black dog will run with an aim to complete his hat-trick.
His last victory hit the headlines at the start of last month, when he beat Ericsson by a half length. D. Firmager’s trainee recently made four solo outings in order prepare himself for today’s crucial battle.
Ballymac Oma, who has been unlucky over the past few weeks, might break the shackles tonight. In both of his previous races, the black and white dog ended up third on the table. The hound is mighty talented, but his chances for the top prize are not bright.
Farloe Handy is also in good form these days. At the end of last month, the black dog did a great job to ensure the top place by six and a quarter lengths. Although victories are not coming to his way regularly, it would be foolish to ignore his chances.
The stats show that it is going to be a tug of war between Isheforreal and Romeo Gallant. Yet, an upset cannot be ruled out of the picture. Farloe Handy might sneak in to cause an upset. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
