Isheforreal moving in for striking a second hat trick in the William Hill Puppy 480 metres Trophy at Nottingham
The William Hill Puppy 480 metres Trophy will be raced at Nottingham over 480 metres flat on Monday, 28th May. The race has been able to pull together some really extra ordinary contenders with some who have posted wins through their most recent outings while there are those too who have come straight out of training sessions.
Competing for the £150 prize money are Lissivigeen Joy, Farloe Brainy, Fabulous Val, Isheforreal, Watch Kitty and Longwood Sam.
Leading with one of the most appealing credentials is Isheforreal, Royal Impact’s two-year-old black and white son out of b***h, Thai Girl. He bagged his seasonal debut on 7th January in the Geoffreys 60th Birthday Stakes at Peterborough over 420 metres.
The 2/1 favourite winner got the race going for him in 25.39 seconds and led the runner up, Forgot The Past, by four and a half lengths. The runner up timed the distance in 25.75 seconds and was soon followed by Danrich Jackie.
After missing the next five races, Isheforreal struck a seasonal hat trick.
He started off by winning the Grade A1 Bulley Davey Stakes on 24th February at Peterborough over 420 metres by timing the track distance in 25.56 seconds. He led the runner up of the race, Billis Primrose, by a length.
His second leg of the hat trick came in the form of the Grade A1 Nifty Fifty Stakes on 3rd March at Peterborough over 420 metres. This time the 11/8 favourite winner settled the race in 25.31 seconds. Taking charge of the final 1 ¾ lengths, he set Born Free second, who was soon followed by Solid Premier.
On 9th March, he took 25.13 seconds to conclude the Grade A1 John Yates Stakes at Peterborough over 420 metres by clocking the track distance in 25.13 seconds and leading the track by 7 ¾ lengths.
He was successful in four out of the six races that he undertook.
Isheforreal won the Grade A1 the Head Of The Family Stakes on 11th May at Peterborough over 420 metres by reaching the other end of the wire in 25.43 seconds.
The most recent success of the two-year-old was in the Coral, Bring It On Puppies on 18th May at Romford over 400 metres by completing the trip in 24.62 seconds and leading the track by three lengths.
He has all the chances of striking a hat trick today.
