Isheforreal to sweep the second heat at Peterborough
Grabbing the most attention due to the constant practice at the open level is the two-year-old black and white dog, Isheforreal. Ever since 15th August, his energies are devoted towards gaining proficiency at the most refined level in the sport. The highly likely entry for the prize money will be confronted by five other hounds at Peterborough on Wednesday, 31st October over 420 metres flat.
Having drawn the first trap is, Ferndale Eagle, while it is the 2 to 1 entry, Isheforreal, who will break loose from the other end.
His most recent outings were over 400 metres, but he does have experience over 420 metres too.
Royal Impact’s hound claimed the prize money of the first heat of the second round of the John Smiths P’Borough on 28th July, 2012 at Peterborough over 420 metres.
He set out from the third trap, and led the track from the post to the pole, taking 25.18 seconds to make it to the other end of the wire. Winning by the margin of 2 ¾ lengths cornered the favourite entry of the race, Pennys Pong, into the runner-up’s slot.
Four losses down the line got him the Grade A1 420 metres flat race on 1st September, 2012 at Peterborough. Racing in the black jacket, the evening’s favourite was quick to distance himself from the rest of the competition and make the transit in 25.12 seconds.
The David Pruhs trained won by the massive margin of 10 ½ lengths, and set Glenadda Panther into the second position.
Success in the next two races qualified the two-year-old for a hat-trick, but the next two races were over 400 metres. The hat-trick was the last time that the black and white dog out of, Thai Girl, visited the winner’s enclosure.
His recent form is not really disappointing, with last two outings turning into second scores. One of the second score was from the sixth trap while the other one came through when Isheforreal broke from the fifth gate.
Gaining and then maintaining the early lead will enhance his chances of being the first one of the lot to complete the trip.
