The agent of the Bianconeri midfielder has corroborated reports that the Chilean is open to a move away from the Udine side; but only at the right price.
Maurizio Isla’s agent, Leo Rodriguez, has admitted that his client’s negotiations for a move away from the Bianconeri began a long time back. However, owing to his season long-injury, negotiations stalled.
Even though there is still some time left before the Chilean returns to full fitness, his representative has briefed the media on his progress, and of the interest from different clubs.
Rodriguez mentioned that there are many suitors for the former Universidad Catolica youth player. He also mentioned the difficulties arising from the injury to the player, with negotiations halting as a consequent
process.
His representative further went on to state that his client is still young and has a long future ahead of him, but remarked that there will be a price that clubs will have to pay. A price that will have to
match Udinese’s valuation, he also stated:
“Now, however, he is recovering well and his young age will help a lot. He is in a particular situation, because you know Udinese’s strategy - there is a price even if they are in no hurry to sell him. If
a team arrives with the right figure then we may begin negotiations, otherwise they will not sell him.”
When probed whether there was any interest shown by Luis Enrique for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauricio-Isla-c24922, his client remarked:
“Are http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, though.”
Speculation is rife about the midfielder’s future at Stadio Olimpico Rome, and apart from the interest from the Giallorossi, he is also linked with a move to Manchester United and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809. Kenny Dalglish
is hoping to strengthen his squad in the summer transfer window, and Isla will definitely bring a different dimension to Anfield.
