well in the quran that is how muslim should be but i personally agree with u and i am a muslim and in my family women and girls are allowed to do what a boy or a man can do  and in my family no one has a breard and everyone takes photoes and i am really in to art and my family does not mind and yes we have photoes all round our house

  To put it correctly, Islam is the latest message of Allah to humanity.

  Islam is the only religion known to recorded history.

  Islam is the only religion which came after age of reason started.

There is no book which exhorts you to think and ponder, as holy Quran does. Many people approach towards Islam blindly, which is forbidden.

Allah SWT wants us to think and decide the proper way of doing a good deed.

I think it is wonderful that you find things wrong with the culture that you want to change and make for the better.  But this is a cultural problem, not a problem with Islam.  May change always continue, and that it be for the betterment of all.
