  2. first ,men and women are separated , the men in a room and the women in another room ,the bride wears a white dress but with long sleeves and covers her body ,no men see her,the man wears a white galabeye,

for the music it is islamic songs only ,there is no dance ofcourse

for the drink ,it is a kind of strawberry syrub ,the food ,they r some kinds stews ,for dessert the eastern kinds like basbousa

  3. Weddings in Egypt are alot of fun! Typically there is a tradition of "making the book" or signing a marriage contract. The actual wedding can come later. The Egyptian wedding involves alot of preparation for the wedding ceremony. A groom must provide a place to live, and furniture and bedding is made and placed on display. There is lively music and often times..belly dancers. Women usually site together, and the men sit together. A wedding can last several days, and culmonates in setting up the apartment for the newly wedded couple.  One of the more popular traditions is the parade of cars in the wedding party where they honk to announce the nuptuals. Now a days the bride can wear a white gown, or a gown intended as a wedding dress. A bride must buy her new clothing to be worn over the next several days during the wedding celebration and after. There are many, many traditions depending on the heritage of the families.  I once witnessed and participated in a wedding where the bed sheets were displayed after the marriage was consumated. This is a bedwin tradition.
