That is, they reject truth after they hear it -- denial... Well, if the Atheist only has twisted knowledge about Islam and doesn't get the chance to learn about it from authentic sources, he seems much better than the one who has the truth in their hands but then they reject it.

I, personally, think that the is worse who has the chance to learn but doesn't want to learn.

I would say the person who left Islam becuase they had the greater chance and knowledge about the religion, yet still they disobeyed and turned their back to it. An athiest may not have the knowledge in the first place.

Well, I believe an atheist. Let me give you my reasons..

No 'sane' person would ever leave Islam to join another religion, or become an atheist. The only person who would is an 'insane'  person, i.e one who is afflicted with or characteristic by mental derangement. Now these people in my eyes are merely ill, and may Allah give them (mental) health and awareness.

However, if the person who left Islam converted to Christianity or Judaism, why do you have to be mean to them? I thought they were people of the book, and the Quran says that there is no compulsion in religion. Not all Muslims leave Islam because they hate it. Some leave because they believe in different ideas. The ones who deliberately bash the religion just aren't being good people.

An Atheist would have it harder because they don't really beleive in anything, it seems like. Wouldn't you agree?
