  1. it has to be the T.T, i am a mega fan of moto gp,but for a real mans event it has to be the t.t, and great moto gp riders, like hailwood, and agostini knew that........<^><.......

  2. Good question there, however i feel that moto gp is the better of the two as its a season event rather than a fortnight. Although both spectacular to watch  the  I.O.M is probably the most demanding. Carl  Fogarty said all of his superbike wins didnt compare to that of the TT, and the great Agostini was also quoted saying his TT victories meant more than all of his championships. I have come round to the thinking that the  TT is far too dangerous nowadays with the bikes way too powerful and the riders pushing harder than ever before to create there own piece of history. Fantastic question keep them coming

  3. Both different worlds. However Agostini won world titles and on the IoM making him a true great. Now if the magic of Rossi was to visit the Island and win!!!!!!

    Prefer the TT.

  4. MotoGp.

The best riders / tracks / rider & bikes the world has seen.

The I.O.M is an amazing set up, but I for one like the close circuit style of the N.W200. It will never happen at the TT though, to many deaths.

Did you know after them 7 days in June, the Grim Reaper orders his new Veyron?

  5. It has to be the Man TT,road racing in raw with nowhere to hide, where the small boys can play with the big boys with no prime donas ,Moto GP good TV entertainment but full of wingers who all ways blame the tyres/conditions or some other petty reason for a poor performance.

  6. I have been a fan of the TT ever since I bought a 650cc Triumph Bonneville in Cyprus in 1964.

But even though the excitement is immense, it's an extremely dangerous race, which is why it was taken off the GP calender, when all the top professional riders refused to race there.

Not only do racers get killed EVERY year, you don't hear about the accidents and deaths amongst the army of motorcyclists who take their bikes over and race around the circuit on MAD Sunday as it was called, when the road circuit was open one way only, ther day before the start of TT week, so everyone could be Mike Hailwood or Geoff Duke.

Many years later when I was a medical rep., I used to go to the IOM three times a year on business , it was about twenty years ago.

I once went the week befor the TT when all the roads were marked out with direction arrows on every bend, this was during my heavy drinking days, and one night about midnight, I drove round the 37 3/4 mile course in my company 2L car at a silly speed, it still took 45 minutes, when the TT record was about 19 minutes, the insanity of alcoholism.

  7. Howdy Python fan (?)

That's a toughie! I love the TT and listen to the races live when I can, but here in the UK we only get an hours coverage each evening on ITV4, so you do feel like you're missing out on a lot. (Whereas the NW200 got great coverage this year on the BBC-I player and you could stream all the practices and races!)

We get a lot of good motogp coverage - both on TV and online, plus there's loads of stuff online too, and there is of course months of racing and speculation to enjoy - not just a couple of weeks.

So, in upsum and  to conclude this stunning piece of indecision and shilly shallying, errrrrrrm...... dunno!

I love watching bikes race . (full stop.) My heart is usually in my mouth and my bum off the seat at least a few times whenever I watch either of them, and I laugh and clap and generally act like a big kid in front of the telly and wish there was more racing on telly!

Hang on, don't you watch the WSBK's too? or BSB's? I do if I can find the time, or the races streamed after the event (I've recorded the whole of the superbikes from the USA last night - so that's my evening sorted out for me!)

    Which do you like best??

  8. The tt,More like a race,Very dangerous.

  9. isle of MAN. hands down, the fastest most xiting race I'VE EVER SEEN.    sorry 4 short explanation..   ISLE OF MAN RULES.

  10. That is so tough a question. its like comparing apples and pears. the thing has to be taken in context.

When you go to a GP. Say Donnington. you get an atmosphere that's all about one day. everyone is geared for that day. (to the event , entry, racing, the ride home)

the TT... is a Holiday. either with practise or without.(1 week or 2) you travel there spend 2 weeks (or 1) on an island where there are no speed limits other than in the built up areas. you watch racing for a week on an island full of like minded sports fans. you party at nights. then you travel home.

both events show the very best riders in the world, at their events.

Me... I love GP. but the best time i have is on the Isle of man during TT week. mad Sunday is AWESOME.

Sorry I cant answer your question. Good question though.
