  1. Some hotels offer ferry inclusive deals, have a look in the sunday papers, there are always a few in the mail.

  2. There are 2 main ferry providers - Red Funnel and Wightlink.

Red Funnel goes from Southampton to Cowes, and takes around 50 mins, Wightlink goes from Portsmouth (or Lymington) to Fishbourne (or Yarmouth) and takes 30 mins.

As a regular visitor to the island, I use Wightlink as it is quicker and the terminal is easy to get to at both ends.

I think Red Funnel is doing short car breaks for £35. To be honest, anyhting under £50 is a winner!

I have supplied both offer pages for both providers

    Have a good time!

  3. this website has all the different ferry routes on it
