Isn't CM Punk a clown?

He believes he is better than everyone else because he is "straight edge." When JBL told him he is boring I actually agreed with that statement n the funny thing is,that is the first time I've ever heard JBL say something that made sense to me. If Punk doesn't drink at all n has never drank in his life then he is indeed boring n is a sissy. Plus he has drug free tattoed on his fingers,I can't believe someone would waste their time tatting that c**p on their body. He n I would never get along,I am a partier n I drink n smoke basically all the time. He's a talented wrestler but I get tired of him talking about how straight edge he is,he's just a goody two shoes.

No he is not a sissy or a goody two shoes. As the WWE is aiming their demographic to kids and teens, they need role models who kids can legitimately look up to. The attitude era is over so it's not all about beer and stuff. You don't have to do drugs or drink to be cool. WWE needs all the good press they can get since the Benoit tradgedy. He deserves to be World Heavyweight Champion. He isn't a steroid looking freak. C'mon he listens to punk music. You can get a tattoo of anything you want. The tattoos each person gets is a description of what that person is all about. If he's proud of not drinking and smoking then big ups to him.

I personally applaud him for saying no to things the rest of us partake in. Living above the influence (with all drugs) is a good model in the athletic field. He's probably around illegal substances all the time in Wrestling, and having to be beaten up by someone using those enhancing drugs.

I agree, he should be proud. He's the Champion for a reason.

I tell ya when I'm old enough to get a tattoo, I'm gonna get 2 and only 2 the first tattoo I'm gonna get is on my lower left back and it'll be a Molson Canadian Keg. And the second tattoo I would have is on my upper back and it would be an AK-47! b*****s!

You have your opinions he has his. Just because a guy has glasses and has good grades it doesn't mean the guy next door with baggy pants is any better than he is, or will have a better future. Drinking and smoking doesn't make you better than someone, or interesting. JBL drinks and do people respect him? I respect CM Punk for not drinking or smoking, prevents lung cancer, and will make kids look up to him. To be honest I have always been board by Punk and his matches. The GTS really isn't much of a finisher.  But my estimation of him has gone up a few levels since last night.  I agree with some of the other answers that this generation needs good role models.  Thank you CM Punk for taking a stand for your beliefs and morals.

Just about every wrestler except Rikishi, Big Show and Big Daddy V take steroids. They just need them, otherwise they can't take the damage they do.

let me tell u sumthing. cm punk is not a goodie 2 shoes. he may not smoke or drink but he has tattoos. thats not being a goodie. and anyway wwe has that as his gimmick. he could drink once in a while but wwe made his gimmick so he is straight edge.  grow up

well that is his lifestyle wwe did not give him that gimmick because

if you know punk from his ROH days as well as OVW days even his short run in TNA he has

been the same

I have followed the straight edge life style and i don't think its clownish or that I'm a goody 2 shoes. I'm far from that. I follow that life style cuz it's right for me. And partying, smoking, and drinking really doesn't do much for you. Nothing against people who do, but i personally think drugs are stupid. He is a role model and a great athlete. And he's far from a sissy, just cuz he doesn't drink or smoke doesn't mean he's a goody 2 shoes. It just means he's made a smart decision.... so if you're gonna say something, back it up dumbass
