obviously there are many point of views between those 2 players, but these are my opinions.

1. Duncan is more experienced in the nba than Kobe since he has stayed I think 2 more seasons than kobe? But Kobe has more talent than Duncan since Kobe single handly brought his team to the playoffs without the help of Shaquille O'neal.

2. Yes, duncan has won more final MVPs than kobe, but think about it, Kobe Bryant when he won the championships, he had Shaquille O'neal (during his prime) as his partner. Of course, you know Shaq was the most dominant center back then. On the other hand, Duncan got those Final MVP's when he had young players like tony parker and manu ginobili back then.

3. You can't compare players that are in different positions.

-So my answer to this question is kobe is greater than duncan in Rewards wise but for mental wisdom has to be Duncan.

I think he used to be lol, he has so many rings because the spurs are way better then the Lakers. Kobe is a one man team.

But Kobe's still better in my opinion, I hate to say it but yeah.

EDIT: Really, how would the Lakers be without Kobe ? Derek Fisher is getting old, Lamar Odom isn't THAT great, Pau Gasol is the only great ( I said great not good ) player on the Lakers then Kobe.

Duncan is one of the best of this era but Kobe is a better player all around. His ballhandling, D, slashing and ability to create him own shot is amazing to watch. Duncan could never create his own shot and is no risk from the outside. Kobe can score from anywhere on the floor and his defense at the sg position is underrated
