Question:

Isn't Homosexuality normal?

Homosexuality occurs in all verterbrates. It is neither a lifestyle nor a moral choice. It is theorized that it occurs to curb rapid population growth. If roughly 10% of humanity is g*y, that's 10% of the population whose sexual behavior is not adding to overpopulation. Also, many g*y couples are willing to adopt children, which also helps with the orphan problem. If one stops and realizes the benefits to humanity, which outweigh any(?) negatives, of which there are none other than social intolerance, isn't homosexuality in fact a normal variation of any vertebrate that reproduces with two sexes? Why hasn't Kinsey and Masters & Johnson finally laid this issue to rest? Aren't we a democracy that values diversity?

  1. We try so many different ways to condone sin, i.e., anything against God's word. No, homosexuality is not normal, though some people may think so, because it is so rampant. You are trying hard to rationalize it's normalcy, but it isn't.

Consider: the a**s was made for excretion, not penetration. the a**s is a one way street. the v****a was also made to pass liquids and sexual intercourse with  a p***s, not lesbianism.

We are a democracy, but that does not make homosexuality right.

  2. I think homosexuality can be likened to color-blindness. It most likely is a defect.

  3. no

  4. Of course it's normal! Don't worry!

  5. What other vertebrates?

Homosexuality IS a lifestyle now.  In most cases if you put a straight person next to a g*y/L*****n, you're going to be able to tell who's who without even talking to them.

If it's theorized that it occurs to curb rapid population growth, why aren't we seeing it in China (or in ancient Greece thousands of years ago, which is what homosexuals cite the most back when the world has no reason to fear human overpopulation)?

10% isn't a "normal" percentage.  If 10% of the average movie-goers thought that Steven Spielberg is a hack, that's not normal.

Who the h**l is Kinsey, Masters, and Johnson?

  6. Whatever.  People can justify anything all day long.

  7. It seems that you have already made up your mind on the issue, so quit wasting everyone else time with it.

  8. no its not "normal." im not anti-g*y, but 10% isnt exactly anywhere near majority, which is what defines "normal" besides being normal has nothing to do with it having any benefits to society.

    what about this negative. AIDS!

half of me is pro-g*y marriage, because this is america, and it IS the land of the free... but im a Christian, and God says its bad, so my hands are tied.

  9. I understand your intentions, but I believe your facts are a little skewed.  Homosexual behavior occurs in many species, but i do not believe it has been recorded in all vertebrates.  I found reports in bonobos, chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, Japanese Macaques, mice, snakes  These behaviors are also more likely to be observed in captivity, where conditions different from nature.  This can mean that if all needs are met this behavior can occur, or it can mean that individuals of the same s*x are more likely to housed together.  Also, there are not any reports that I have found where a non-human animal is exclusively homosexual.  A mating season may be with a member of the same s*x, but the next year they may choose a member of the opposite s*x.

We are a democracy, but we do not always value diversity.  We have a history of disliking outsiders, I think any minority group will agree with this.

Also, you are hinting at the "uncle theory" in your description (although you do not limit the situation to relatives).  I am not a big believer in this.  There is a lot of evidence for the presents of bisexuality, with pure homo and hetero sexuality being in the minority.  I know many people who label themselves g*y and have children.  How many times have you heard of someone waiting until they were in their 50s to come out?  In the mean time they were married and had 3 children.  They did not come out sooner because they did not believe they would be accepted.

Kirkpatric, R.C. (2000). The evolution of human homosexual behavior. Current Anthropology. 41(3): 385-413.  (this is an interesting read on the topic).

Also, Kinsey helped society realize that there were different sexual behaviors than what was previously believed.  He helped people who were homosexuals realize they were not alone and that their behaviors were not "sick.'  While he opened the eyes of society, there are reports of his over reporting of the "abnormal."  Those with stories they wanted to share were the ones more likely to talk to him.  I am not familiar with Masters and Johnson.

  10. agree 100%

  11. Homosexual behavior IS common in the animal kingdom, yes. But ,in humans,it scares people with no exposure to it.Stereotypes are being unmasked.Personally I'm straight, but I did lighting and sound work in g*y clubs all over the US,and I was always treated respectfully, never rudely, and admire people who live their own way despite society's malicious, violent hatred. Those people shouldn't breed.

  12. Your reasoning to me sounds silly. I mean come on, curbing population growth? LOL That's funny, man. I understand your thought process about this, I have a lot of g*y friends and even a g*y sister. So, no, I am not ignorant to homosexuality. Quite the opposite. Normal is relative. What you or I are accustomed to could be really odd to someone else. Many people say it is not a choice but I think somehow it might be. I do not believe homosexuality is quite as prevalent in third world countries. If it is they sure hide it well. The OPPORTUNITY to be g*y seems to me the main reason it happens. Is totally my own theory but I believe I just might be right about this.

  13. It's normal to those who are.  Normality is a matter of perspective.

  14. The majority always decide what is normal. If the majority of women lay eggs then giving birth would not be normal.

  15. Why do you ask a question you´ve already answered?

  16. Well im personaly all for g*y people, its not like people should think of them any differently, they are just people, and yes the do help out with issues of the world.

  17. 2 pts!!!

  18. yes

  19. yes it is normal, just relax about it.

  20. Yes, of course.  What is wrong with s******g a girl instead of a guy, as a girl?  Not that this interests me, but I have better things to worry about than g**s getting married and adopting kids.  I don't care if they hold hands and make out.  Though it is an enormous bore to watch more teenage girls make out on the street, grabbing each other's b*****s and groping in hopes that I will have a reaction.  When I am on my bike and going home from work, I usually think about a pot of Turkish apple tea or green tea, some music or television, and soaking my feet.  I might get a bottle of wine and some chocolate a couple times a week.  This type of public display is the last thing on my mind and is so repetitive it is boring.

  21. no its not  u need the lord

    :) ya digg
