Question:

Isn't John McCain the wrong man for America (and the world)?

Last night McCain selected Sarah Palin as his running mate. And due to my tendency to judge candidates on their environmental record, McCain is definitely a no-no for me.

He has been pushing for drilling in the ANWR as part of his big energy plan - Sarah Palin is the Governor of Alaska and would love to see a pipeline right across her state. Mr McCain has been supporting Big Oil of late, a drastic change from several years back when he was an advocate for the environment.

So, is he another big liar like......?

  1. Pipeline across her state . . . you know there already is one right?

  2. As far as I know, a majority of Alaskans want the ANWR opened for drilling.  Maybe McCain has realized this.  And given the increase in oil prices over the last 7 years, he's become open to the idea of drilling for oil in the ANWR.  Or maybe he's just gotten older and cares less about the long term state of the environment.  He may be saying, "Heck.  I've only got a few good years left if that.  I need to go for the gusto."

  3. You must have a big hammer, you hit the nail on the head.

You are definitely right.  He is the wrong man for America.  Face it he is very old.  Very old sounding and appearance wise.  72 is not old but he is.  Sorry John go away.

  4. McCain is not pushing for drilling in ANWR, he is still against it. Now is he a yes-yes for you?

  5. john mc cain is a disgrace to america, he will pull any dirty trick to get himself elected to the presidency.

  6. Hes in politics, that answers the lier bit

In Greece they think McCain is a worse threat to world peace than Bush. They havent decided about Obama yet. Here in NZ we see McCain as a guy upset he didnt drop more bombs on peasants before he was captured, why that makes him a hero we dont understand. Obama would win an election in NZ today tommorrow and yesterday easily if McCain was the rival.
