  2. I live in Australia, and kangaros are not an endagered species at all. Infact it's quite common to see them on a quiet road outside or on the outskirts of the city.

A lot of people eat them often, but some people don't like the idea. You can get kangaroo meat from any supermarket or markets in town. But people tend to eat chicken a lot more than kangaroo.

    Kangaroo cost about

You can also find a lot of rabbit and deer in markets - but I don't eat red meat so i don't buy eiether of them. I have heard kangaroo tastes tough, but a litlle like beef or lamb depending on what you have with it. It's not expensive and people often shoot them while they are in their natural habitat, or if they destroy crops on their land. A lot of kangaroos get hit by cars - and lay dead on the side of the road for days =[

It sounds horrible, but when you think about it - unlike cows, pigs and chickens they at least have a good quality of life before they get killed. Even if they are on our national emblem...

Hope this information helps you =]

  3. roo meat is yummy = ]

    mmmmmmmm

  4. Kangaroos are NOT endangered, there are a few species of Wallabies that are. Kangaroos are actually pests. We went on a long drive and I counted 216 dead kangaroos in the first 5 hours (then I gave up lol). And yes they are sold as pet food and also eaten by people though it's not that common.

My uncle works for CALM and they sometimes do Kangaroo culls to try decrease the population

  5. um, no, kangaroo tastes great!! They are an abundance of them, and i believe were the only country that eats our national emblem!!

They hop around everywhere, so much so that they are a hazard when driving

We eat crocodile and emu to

  6. Unfortunately we have to keep the numbers down because there are to many of them out there and they are hurting our farmers. They are serial pest unfortunaly.

I just came back from the snowy mountains down south and i had to drive around quiet a few of them on the roads dead. They can be very dangerous if they get in the way of a car. Hitting a roo can wipe your car rite off. As far as eating well there meat is found in pet food store. Yes, you can eat their meat just as well as I have eaten crocodile meat and they are becoming a pest too, way up north.

  7. yep, my school was like celebrating indigenous day and they were selling a piece of kangaroo for a dollar :))
