Isn't Marines dying in Afghanistan IMPORTANT too?

Question

Do you noticed how, in the news, when a marine in Iraq gets killed they report it immediately on the radio, tv, and online. But when a marine in Afghanistan get killed, well, it may or may not get reported with the same urgency to let us know (the American people) that another one of our soldiers fighting this war on terrorism has made the ultimate sacrifice. SMELL A MEDIA CONSPIRACY(...bias) ANYONE?

Marines dying ANY WHERE- is Important. But that's part of their "job" description... And if we're going to send them into harm's way- some are GOING to be killed, & that's going to be taken for Granted... Such- is the Real World...  :(

Their is no conspiracy, every human life is important regardless of it raceor nationality.  The thing is that iraq has been a very controversial war and remember that media is a business and controversy sells.

amen to that! when a solder of any country yours or mine die for there country they should be honoured for there sacrifice !! And not shoved to the back just because it isn't the flavour of the month
