Question:

Isn't NBC's non-LIVE broadcast of Beijing 2008 Olympics in the Pacific coast evil?

Because of NBC's notorious "prime time" execuse, its broadcast of 2008 Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony is not LIVE in the USA.

The ceremony will start at 8:00PM Beijing time (GMT +8), so it will be 5:00AM PST , 7:00AM CST, and 8:00AM EST at Sunday morning in the United States. Notice that, 8:00AM on Sunday morning in the east coast is not a miserable time to watch the ceremony LIVE at all, but still, NBC, the notorious olympics broadcast totalitarian in the USA wouldn't show it LIVE.

Instead, the show will be put on "prime time" within each time zone in the united states, namely, 7/8c PM at the east/central time zone, and 7:00PM at the pacific coast.

NBC is evil, and totally profit driven, please note that, not every broadcasting business in the world is that profit driven like notorious NBC. CCTV5, for example, the Chinese largest sports channel, always show any match it broadcasts LIVE, no matter if it happens at 3:00AM or 2:00AM in China. And, its profit far exceeded NBC's.

NBC is anti-human, and is pathetic and poor in revenue.

  1. While I am not a big fan of broadcast television, the networks, syndicated television and radio,  and the mainstream media in general, I do believe that in this case they had no choice. No one would tune in at 5:00 AM or 8:00 AM to watch the closing ceremonies. It's ironic, that we could see photos of the closing ceremonies as they happen, and yet the ceremonies will be televised hours from now.

But I think that NBC should have made video podcasts of the events available.

And the networks are (1) purely profit driven and (2) have a political agenda that they push on people. They are evil.
